Nofre Taylor is one of these special men who has created himself from nothing. His servants are always at his feet, ready to accomplish all his commands; and all the women are willing to fall head over heels for him. His biggest rival is Bieló Roig. On one hand, Bieló just needs seven minutes and a half to get dressed, while Nofre needs two seconds more than that, which is a big disgrace. On the other hand, Nofre produces 690.000 handles per year, while Bieló only produces 689.999.

Their competence is thus fierce. One day Beatriu arrives at Nofre’s. She is a girl that Nofre knows since their childhood. Nofre believes Beatriu to fall quickly in love with him, but she is a different girl: she likes to dream, to enjoy a sunset, and to have a walk. She cannot understand Nofre’s way of life, and after her son has worked for Nofre, she leaves. As a farewell gift, she gives Nofre a yellow trunk, where he will finally end up whatever he does.
