Melodies from the past, reimagined in a big band format.
Huialfàs offers a show that puts onstage traditional work songs from Mallorca, from the town of Sa Pobla more specifically, reimagined in a bid band format. An orchestra formed by more than thirty musicians that mixes classical, modern, and traditional instruments, with arrangements that merge jazz, classical, and traditional music. The main aim is to revive melodies from a recent past that were sang on the fields of Mallorca.
