Den 9:e upplagan av Dragon Winter Series hålls i Puerto Portals under vintermånaderna. En regattacircuit där toppseglarna från både nationella och internationella arenor tävlar inom ramen för en klassisk seglartävling, för att uppleva havets tradition på nära håll med Dragon-klassens monotypbåtar.
Puerto Portals har blivit hamnen med den största flottan av Dragons i Spanien och en referenspunkt på den internationella cirkeln. Dragon är en segelbåt designad av Johan Anker 1929. Den var en olympisk klass från 1948 till 1972. Klassen har omkring 1500 aktiva båtar i mer än 26 länder, med Tyskland i spetsen med det största antalet båtar.
