Parc Natural de la Península de Llevant is a protected, largely undeveloped reserve on Mallorca’s north‑east tip near Artà, where a network of waymarked trails crosses pinewoods, garrigue and agricultural land to dramatic coastal cliffs and sheltered coves — a top spot for walking, birdwatching and quiet nature watching.

What Makes It Special

Its special quality is the feeling of remoteness: rugged eastern coastline with unspoilt coves (for example Cala Torta and nearby beaches), panoramic cliff-top viewpoints and a rich mosaic of habitats that produce strong spring wildflower displays and good opportunities to spot seabirds and raptors.

Insider Tips

Plan hikes for spring or autumn or early morning in summer, start from the MA‑3333 access points, wear sturdy shoes, carry plenty of water and sun protection, stick to the waymarked PR/GR paths and respect grazing fences — facilities are limited and parts are not accessible for wheelchairs.
