Cala Fornells

Cala Fornells, Illes Balears, Spain

Cala Fornells is a small, sheltered rocky cove on Mallorca’s south‑west coast in the Calvià area near Peguera, offering clear turquoise water, a compact pebble beach and a relaxed local atmosphere popular for swimming and snorkelling.

What Makes It Special

The cove’s calm, transparent water and rocky seabed create excellent snorkelling close to shore, while flat rock ledges around the inlet form natural sunbathing terraces with lovely views of the sea.

Insider Tips

Arrive early to find limited parking and a good spot on the rocks, bring water shoes and your own shade/snorkel gear because facilities are minimal, and pair the visit with a short trip to nearby Peguera for cafés and restaurants.
