Love, Thirst - Pau Pascual, Maria Adrover and Juanjo Montserrat
Event Information
With a vibrant language full of Mediterranean light, Blai Bonet knew how to unite mysticism and the body, eroticism and transcendence, beauty and pain. With L’amor, la set, his word is taken as the starting point for the creation of a poetic concert revolving around two central themes: water and love; the fluidity of desire.
Created by Pau Pascual and Maria Adrover, with the musical contribution of Juanjo Monserrat, the piece combines set poetry, electronic and traditional textures, and performative elements. Based on Blai’s poems, fragments of his novel El mar, and other autobiographical writings, a space emerges where music, voice, and body merge. Water—both physical and symbolic—becomes a metaphor for desire, the thirst for life, spirituality, and the body as a space of revelation.
