In this famous adaptation of one of Hans Christian Andersen's tales, we are told the adventures of a beautiful princess who sets out in search of her sister, now a queen, who has withdrawn to live in majestic solitude in an ice palace located beyond the Northern mountains. The Queen, who has magical powers to create snow and freeze her surroundings, cannot bring herself to accept who she is, ashamed of these powers and the negative effects they cause as she goes through life.
But the young princess is optimistic and brave, determined to bring her sister back to the normal world. Along with a young man of the snow and mountains, his reindeer, and a curious and funny snowman, she embarks on a journey full of adventures and dangers to save her and to discover many things about life and love.
